ERRC Human Rights Education programming aims to empower individuals to acquire knowledge, understanding and experience in human rights and Roma rights concepts and the international law instruments guaranteeing fundamental rights for all. The targeted approach of the ERRC Human Rights Education programming comprises:
A scholarship programme for Romani university students of law and public administration.
An internship programme providing Roma rights activists with training at the ERRC office in Budapest, or with a carefully selected, appropriate human rights organisation.
Workshops on human rights issues directed at Roma and other targeted groups within the wider society, such as police officers, teachers, NGO activists, members of public administration, etc.
