 Mission/Vision
We would like to see Britain leave the EU, and have a free trade agreement with them. We would prosper outside as a free and independent country, trading with every part of the world, as we have always done. The EU does not have popular support in the UK - only the politicans want it.
What does the organization do?
The branch is part of the nationwide Democracy Movement. We campaign for a democratic referendum on the EU's Lisbon Treaty, which is the same as the EU Constitution rejected by French and Dutch voters in 2005. It should not be introduced in Britain without a popular vote.
Opportunities for Youth
The branch has over 90 local supporters who campaign actively. They include many young people. We welcome new supporters, particularly young people. Supporters deliver leaflets locally and man high street stands asking passers-by for their support for petitions. These stands always receive...
