Cross-Cultural Solutions is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that offers international volunteer programs that many describe as the experience of a lifetime. You get to experience another culture like never before, while working side by side with local people in a fascinating region of the world. Choose from 3 different programs - Volunteer Abroad, Intern Abroad, and Insight Abroad - lengths of stay of 1-12 weeks, and 12 countries: Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Morocco, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Tanzania and Thailand. Wherever you choose, Cross-Cultural Solutions in-country staff welcomes you to the CCS Home-Base and ensures that all of your needs are met - from safety and lodging to perspectives and insight about the local culture.

Cross-Cultural Solutions programs are open to participants of all ages, year-round. Short-term international volunteering provides a rich learning experience for teenagers, whether traveling independently, with their families, or with a school group. Many high school students have chosen short-term volunteering during school breaks as a way to combine vacation time with a growing desire for international travel. The minimum age required for volunteers traveling alone to a Cross-Cultural Solutions program is 18 years old. Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome, but are required to fill out an Application for Enrollment. For participants younger than 16, the accompanying guardian must be a parent, a legal guardian, or a person appointed by that parent or guardian. Cross-Cultural Solutions welcomes family participation in all of our programs.
