Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization. Concern's mission is to enable absolutely poor people to achieve major improvements in their lifestyles which are sustainable without ongoing support from Concern.
The Global Concerns Project is the US education program of Concern Worldwide. The Global Concerns Project seeks to raise awareness of current international issues in U.S. secondary schools. GCP works in collaboration with educators and students to bring humanitarian issues into the classroom. GCP connects students to the international community and creates meaningful opportunities for research, reflection, and action.

Concern Worldwide currently works in 30 countries, implementing projects to ensure that everyone worldwide has access to education, healthcare, livelihood security, and emergency relief.
The Global Concerns Project promotes global understanding through a diverse range of activities. The Global provides participating schools with quality classroom resources, engaging classroom presentations, personalized and practical curriculum design support and educator workshops, and interactive student workshops and after-school activities.

Opportunities for Youth
Youth can participate in a Global Concern Club, organize classroom presentations, and work in partnership with Concern Worldwide to raise awareness of humanitarian issues in their schools or communities.
