Our cardinal objective is to reduce unemployment among youths through self-help job creation and income generation programs

This is achievable through:

# Providing poor and unemployed youths with information and micro-credit facilities that will enable them create jobs by themselves for their own benefit by using sustainable agricultural renewable natural resources available within their immediate communities

# Supporting smaller grass roots development groups that
are working towards peace building and activities aimed at meeting basic needs by providing them with information and training that will build their capacity

# Promoting the participation of youth in peace education, economic and social development of their communities

# Supporting, building capacities and working in participatory relationship with CBOs in other to improve management of community renewable natural resources, for the benefit of the rural youth and general well-being of the communities such organizations serve.

# Promoting micro-enterprise development in rural communities

# Providing micro credit facilities, technical or financial assistance directly to grass roots youth development associations, young women development associations and young individuals to enhance economic and developmental activities they themselves have conceived and nurtured.

Our effort towards youth development is to generally bridge the gap of information and knowledge among grassroots agricultural youth organizations

We achieve this through:

#Collecting information on best agricultural practices and experiences in sustainable agriculture, appropriate communication methods and participatory approaches to rural development from Professionals and professional farmer organizations, NGOs,Internet, libraries, local farmers etc and organizing and disseminating same information by post and hand-to-hand (e.g. using drivers at motor parks) to effectively reach out to our target group which are :youth development organizations, CBOs and such organizations that focus on improving access to basic needs (such as food)

# Promoting exchange of formal and informal agricultural knowledge and cooperation among stakeholders such as extensionists, community development workers(CDWs),peasant farmers and experts towards agricultural rural development.
