Attracted by the success of CDI initiative, several NGOs and institutions showed interest in aggregating schools of information technology to strenghten their social projects. CDI gradually expanded and today the organization has 346 Schools of Information Technology and Civil Rights, enrolling more than 166,000 students. CDI provides these schools with technical assistance, teacher training and curriculum development (methodology), as well as hardware and software obtained through donation campaigns.
One Example includes a recent project directed toward youth:

CDI is also developing a youth training course for website design. The group, self-named GT-Web, is learning HTML as well as professional software packages such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Home-Site. Trainees have been chosen by the instructors of the schools among community students showing a high level of creativity and ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
