Citron Wood is a development organization, run by a network of determined young people who give their time and knowledge in an effort to bring social development, justice and peace where it is needed most, with the support of a large network of volunteers and academia.
Our mission is to establish conditions under which the welfare of the underprivileged can be enhanced, while taking an active role in key environmental concerns and conservation.

We draw young from the communities in which we work into a partnership to improve their economic, social and environmental well being, by i) improving access to basic social services: including healthcare & holistic HIV/AIDS programs, shelter, education, and food, ii)promoting environmental conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, iii)encourage the reaffirmation of faith in the equal and inalienable rights and inherent dignity for all people, and iv) breaking poverty cycles by providing youth with education: opportunities and skills training
