CUC works in the fields related to art and culture, environment, HIV and AIDS, human rights and youth empowerment.

Art and Culture
CUC organises various art exhibitions and competitions on themes like heritage preservation, human rights and climate change. CUC also manages Galleria CUC, an art gallery situated at Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Photo excursions and workshops are some of CUC’s other regular activities.

CUC also works in the field of cultural heritage preservation. Through its publications, exhibitions, seminars, lecture series and open forum discussions, CUC is working towards sensitising people to the importance of preserving their tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Environment
CUC advocates the need for conservation of natural heritage and local eco-systems through its activities. CUC organises various awareness development programmes to educate people and societies on issues of sustainable consumption and waste management. In order to raise awareness and a sense of responsibility among young people, CUC regularly conducts cleaning campaigns followed by group discussions.

HIV & AIDS
CUC assists individuals and societies to understand the risks and possible damages this virus can cause. CUC highlights this need through its publications and social awareness programmes. CUC also trains volunteers to carry out awareness activities in their local communities to spread the knowledge about this virus.

Publication
CUC publishes various resource kits, research publications, photo catalogues, directories and other informative books relating to art, culture, literature, environment, HIV/AIDS and human rights.

Youth can participate in various programmes and activities from cleaning campaigns, photography excursions, discussion forums to art exhibitions, seminars and workshops.

Youth can join in the regular group discussions and lecture series. They can join the CUC volunteers in the periodic excursions or simply submit their photos for exhibitions and competitions, which are organised from time to time. CUC also organises educational tours to various sites of cultural significance. Youths may also participate in HIV training sessions.

Apart from this, youth can also submit their creative writings, articles, visual artworks and so forth for CUC’s publications.
