The Centre for Youth and Children Affairs (CEYCA) is a Non Gorvnmental Organisation (NGO) established in August 1995 and got registered in January 1997. CEYCA’s primary objective is to promote and protect the rights of the children and the youth in Malawi. It also aims at empowering youth through skills training, training of trainers, participatory education and mobilising of youth into the formation of youth clubs to activily participate in different areas of concern including economical areas.. CEYCA’s goal is to meet the needs of Malawian children and youth. This means delivering high – quality service using professional indigenous non – governmental organisation in Malawi.

CEYCA works with other organisations, both local and international, in the spirit of networking and collaboration in the promotion and protection of the rights the child and youth as well as human rights in general.
Locally CEYCA, is a member of Human Rights Consultative Committee (HRCC). It is a group of 35 Human Rights NGOs in Malawi focusing on Governance, Women, Youth / Children, Disability. CEYCA's Executive Director is the current chair of this body.
An affiliate of he National Youth Council of Malawi which is a parastatal established under the Act of Parliament. CEYCA's Executive Director serves on the Councils' Boad as a Board Member.
A secretariat of youth NGOs on Human Rights with 9 members.
Pan-African Civic Educators Network (PACE-NET)
A member of Child Rights Information Networking (CRIN) London based network.
