The Project aims to build greater mutual understanding, learning and respect among each other and to explore the issues of identity, diversity and to contribute positively towards an understanding of ‘active global citizenship’

Implements projects including teaching English through active citizenship for under privileged children living in extreme poverty conditions in the suburbs of Colombo, creating an action network among schools on Sexual Health Education and peer education and training on conflict transformation,...

Implements projects including teaching English through active citizenship for under privileged children living in extreme poverty conditions in the suburbs of Colombo, creating an action network among schools on Sexual Health Education and peer education and training on conflict transformation, active citizenship and Sexual Health.
Beyond Borders is also in the practice of experimenting with alternative media such as Forum Theatre and using new media tools such as Blogs, and Podcasting.
