Arts-in-Action is arguably the leading educative theatre company in the Caribbean. The work of the organisation is situated in education. The company uses drama and theatre for educational purposes. This however is not restricted to the classroom, as the organisation conducts educational workshops in both primary and secondary schools for curricula and extra-curricula activities, as well as, utilise drama and theatre for community and business consulting purposes.

It also offers opportunities for students enrolled in courses at the University of the West Indies to participate in the execution of its educative theatre projects.
Also the organisation builds numerous programmes that has youth as its target audiences.
