AC-AF’s mission is to build, strengthen and support community resources that will be used to provide sustainable and equitable solutions for improving and protecting the well-being and human rights of children in child-headed households. AC-AF gives children the opportunity to complete education and training programs, acquire life and work skills, learn financial responsibility and grow to be healthy, motivated and confident individuals with a strong sense of family and community.
Our vision is a future in which all children have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

Africa’s Children - Africa’s Future (AC - AF) is a Toronto-based NGO dedicated to working within African communities to create a better, sustainable future for the children most affected by and vulnerable to HIV and AIDS. They offer multi-faceted programming to develop sustainable localized solutions for children, their families and communities, with the aim of reversing the destructive health, economic, social and cultural impacts of HIV and AIDS. AC-AF is affiliated with AIDS Vancouver, one of the first organizations in Canada to respond to HIV and AIDS issues.

AC - AF offers multi-faceted programming to develop sustainable localized solutions for children and their families and communities. Read more about AC - AF’s unique solutions.
On a local level, AC-AF maintains an active and on-going involvement with Canadian youth to promote understanding and awareness of the AIDS epidemic at home and abroad.
AC-AF is also developing an on-line initiative called OUR ZONE where youth can read the stories of other kids from around the world or share their stories -- tell us about a day in your life!
