Acknowledging the truth, that today’s children and youth represents the future of Liberia and are the hope for tomorrow’s social, political, economic and cultural well being of Africa; wishing, therefore, to provide children and young people with the best possible peaceful developmental conditions to ensure that they will grow into productive, peace-loving adults;
Recognizing, however, the many crises that face children and youth in Africa, especially Liberians, - including war and ethnic animosity, displacement, poverty, lack of education, pandemic illnesses, HIV/AIDS, sexual violence and labor exploitation;
Determined to overcome these challenges through positive, empowering actions;
To educate young people, their immediate cares and their communities in order to nurture the development of peaceful, responsible and productive citizens;
To promote the culture of peace and democracy; raising awareness about children rights and domestic violence
To promote, develop, and conserve a clean and healthy environment;
To promote positive behavioral changes in society;
To create awareness on HIV/AIDS pandemic and education in the communities;

Ours is to educate young Liberians, their immediate concern and their communities in order to nurture the development of responsible, Peaceful and productive citizens, helping to alleviate poverty at the grass-root, working with Liberian youth affected by the civil war especially the children, and young women, working with youth, their immediate care and their communities in order to nurture the development of responsible, peaceful, healthy and productive citizens.
ACPI recognizes African youth as important resource that can contribute their energy, idealism, and insight to community’s stability, growth and progress.
ACPI focuses on the Provision of skills training programs to young people and their caregivers with a view to developing sustainable livelihoods.
