VISION/MISSION STATEMENT
Africa Youth Ministries as a Christian Non Profit Organisation exists to empower and save humanity as a whole as embedded in the Holy Scriptures Mathew 25:35-36, working with the poor and the oppressed regardless of race, faith, age, and tribe.
We strive to accomplish this mission through integrated holistic commitment to:
Community Empowerment
Through education and income generating projects especially focused on Orphaned Children & their caregiver and the youth.
HIV/AIDS
Strengthen Community Orphan Care & support with a bias on Orphans inherited by elderly people, HIV/AIDS awareness & prevention campaigns in schools and public places, community support & care for people living with Aids especially income generating activities through self employment & micro-enterprise.
Emergency Relief
That assists people afflicted by conflict and disaster
Human Rights & Justice
advocacy through peaceful means on issues affecting the Children & poor people & the oppressed
Witness to Jesus Christ
Through the ministry of lifestyle, actions, and through sharing his word in evangelism that people may know him and accept him
ABOUT US
Africa Youth Ministries was founded in 2003 by a group of visionary young people with a vision to empower and save humanity holistically.
Geographically, Africa Youth Ministries Uganda is currently operating in the Districts of Wakiso, Jinja, Hoima, Kampala and Lira.
WHAT WE DO
In the five Districts we operate in Africa Youth Ministries is involved in the following programs and activities:-
EVANGELISM
Africa Youth Ministries Uganda as a social action Ministry or Faith Based Ngo, was found on a Christian Foundation and inspired by the Holy Scriptures: Mat 25:35:36 to care for the needy, Isaiah 1:17 to learn to do right just, seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the cause of the fatherless plead the case of the widow, Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after Orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world, Mat 28:19 go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Mt 6:14-15 preach the gospel of forgiveness.
