What does the organization do?
AAPSEJIK has five programs that aim at raising the living standards of women, youths, people with disabilities and children. These programs are: human rights and governance, agriculture and food security, environmental conservation, health and HIV/AIDS and education. We advocate for inclusion of...

AAPSEJIK has five programs that aim at raising the living standards of women, youths, people with disabilities and children. These programs are: human rights and governance, agriculture and food security, environmental conservation, health and HIV/AIDS and education. We advocate for inclusion of youths in grassroots committees, conduct awareness on HIV prevention and management, carryout career counseling in secondary schools, advocate for proper utilization of public resources, organize initiation of community tree nurseries and environmental clean up. We solicit for bursaries for bright children. We also advocate against child labor and violence against women.

The organization was founded and is led by the youths. As a university student, Mr. Dindi came up with the idea to change the youths' perspective regarding community development. The organization uses youth volunteers for its project implementation. The organization collaborates with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs through decentralized structures to implement projects. The majority membership of the organization are youths. The organization also collaborates with various colleges to offer attachment opportunities for youths. The organization has launched a computer center in Bondo to offer IT to the youths who cannot afford cost for colleges. "AAPSEJIK IS OF THE YOUTH, FOR THE YOUTH AND WITH THE YOUTH"
