What is SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise)?

SIFE is an international organization that mobilizes university students around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. We have a head for business and a heart for the world! There are SIFE chapters located throughout approximately 40 countries and the SIFE movement is continuing to grow every year.

As these students succeed at helping others, they develop stronger business and leadership skills as well as a commitment to the community and the world around them.
Who are SIFE Memorial?

Since our start in1992, SIFE Memorial has been a not-for-profit organization aimed to infuse an entrepreneurial spirit while creating economic opportunity in Newfoundland and Labrador. With the support of our sponsors, SIFE Memorial is able to run a variety of outreach projects, from teaching grade six students the importance of business skills through their own recycling program, to re-developing a Labrador rural community through the opening of a local pottery studio. SIFE Memorial is comprised of post-secondary students attending Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. We volunteer. We lead. We create change. And we are World Champions too!
