GYN+ is recognized as the authentic voice advocating for policies and improved practices on all matters related to HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse, enhancing, sustaining and improving the of quality of life children and youth afflicted by HIV and substance abuse in Guyana

All programmes and project activities are designed and implemented with the Support, Care, Hope, Encouragement and Direction (SCHED) concept; reaching the needs of our members and customers. Activities include:

• Facilitating supportive counselling and referrals
• Providing limited home based and institutional care for HIV affected children and youths
• Facilitating self-development workshops and training for members and customers
• Coordinating peer education and other community based activities
• Initiating and supporting income generating activities for members
• Advocating for the needs of membership in appropriate forums
• Providing and promoting psycho-social counselling and care for OVCs and their caregivers
• Promoting, acceptance, care and understanding for children, youth and families affected by HIV, AIDS and substance abuse
