The By Youth Leadership Program was created to provide opportunities as well as a safe, family environment for disadvantaged youth in the area adjacent to the Mar Vista Gardens Housing Projects. Modeled after the Mar Vista Family Center's self-empowerment philosophy, BYFY has successfully produced numerous leaders and three local conferences in Los Angeles. This Conference is an effort to increase youth networking and collaboration to improve the incredible initiatives being done by youth groups around America.
