Asian Youth Council is a regional coordinating body for youth in the Asia and Pacific region. It is a non-governmental, voluntary organization seeking to promote peace, goodwill and solidarity among member organizations in order to foster a greater international understanding and respect for the wide variety of rich cultural values in the region. The Council was inaugurated on 14th, August, 1972 with national Youth organizations from 15 countries.
AYC as a regional youth body, plays an active and important role in development among its youth while upholding the basic principals of harmonious, peaceful and prosperous world.
