EUYC is the non-profit organisation, founded 24th of september 2002 and officially registered 23th of december 2002. At the moment, organisation consist of more than 150 members. Central office of Estonian Youth Centre UNESCO is resided in Kohtla-Nõmme (Ida-Virumaa region) in Folks House. Also, organisation has three branches in Tallinn and Narva.The main aims of organisation are: making one’s contribution on supporting the peace and safety; organising co-operation and partnership between young people in educational, scientific and cultural areas; upbringing esteem of justice, legislation, human rights, and also of the main world values which are not depend on origins, gender, language or religious differences, with a support of U.N.O. Focus group of organisation consists of young people in age of 14 till 30 year's old — schoolchildren, university entrants, students, as well as youth organisations and projects, youth art institutions, school governments etc. Our achievements: - Development of the projects “Happiness of giving” and “Integration through communication” (09 – 10.2002) - Organising the round table with the Sillamäe Centre for prevention of addiction to drugs and alcohol among young people (11.2002) - Participating in international conference “Multiculturalism, integration and border countries co-operation” (11.2002) - taking part in conference “Possible co-operation between UNESCO National Commissions and youth organisations” (11.2002) - establishing of contacts with an Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, regional, governmental and youth institutions - permanent contacts and co-operation with a UNESCO National Commission of Estonia - working with a school governing - foundation of branches in Tartu, Tallinn and Narva - preparation and realisation of literary evening with Doris Kareva (16.03.2003) - taking part in preparing and celebrating holiday “Mother’s Day” (04.-05.2003) - preparation and opening of the intellectual games’ club “TARK” in schools and University of Tartu (May, 2003) - preparation and organisation of international educational camp “Environment and tourism” (45 participants from Spain, France, Estonia) - participating in 3 UNESCO Youth Forum which was held in Paris at 24-26.09.2003 before the 32 session of UNESCO General Conference

THE PURPOSES:
To bring in the contribution for maintenance of the world and safety, planning co-operation between peoples in spheres of formation, a science and culture to bring up respect for validity, the legislation, human rights, and also for the basic world values irrespective of racial, sexual, language and religious differences at support and with the help of the United Nations.
1. To help people of a different nationality to communicate, develop attitudes with Estonia. Development of friendship with other countries through external attitudes, acquaintance with principles of democratic participation.
2. At a local level to help youth with carrying out of leisure. Creation of youth movement. To make active youth for the decision of city problems. To create preconditions for command work. Participation in political and nonpolitical actions.
3. To help in the decision of children's, youth, social, educational, cultural and other problems. To give the psychological help of youth. For achievement of the purposes the center has a right: To develop co-operation with the youth organizations as in Estonia and abroad, and also with other organizations, official bodies, institutions of local government, firms and private persons, to organize and carry out youth work. For fund raising on the center carries out paid actions, accepts material donations and deductions, conclude sponsor's and advertising contracts as in Estonia, and abroad. On the basis of the labour contract to employ experts And experts.

1. Non-profit organization the Estonian UNESCO Youth Centre. further the center, this voluntary association, which purpose is directed on coordination and development of youth work in Estonia
2. The center is the intermediary between the Estonian youth organizations, pupils of schools, and unites them for carrying out of joint actions, the decision of youth problems.
3. The center cooperates with the state and local bodies of self-managements, non-profit organizations, and also with others interested in activity of the center by the organizations and private persons both in Estonia and behind its limits.
4. In the activity the center is guided by working legal certificates and the given charter.
5. The center offers co-operation, youth activity, interschool actions and other activity. Which purpose is to support the educational purposes of youth
