1. Social care station for old and lonely people. The volunteers with one social worker are taking care for 30 old people in Kaunas town. 10 old people receive "meals on wheels" - hot dinner each day. There are living in very poor home and sometimes they don't have what to eat and money for living. It is very simple care of old people. Is possibility to organise different meetings of old people. 2. Youth social year program. Program for 17-27 year old young people. In the frame of the program young volunteers 2 hours each day take care of people in need in various social institutions and take part in 4-5 social - pedagogic seminars: reflecting their social experience, deepening in actual themes and questions. In general youth organisation "A.C.Patria" is working with young volunteers and informal education. We are making different seminars, projects and trying to assist young people conscious participation in society life. In "A.C.Patria" we are creating conditions for practical social activities and in seminars developing cooperation and communication skills, personal and social responsibility.
