The American Anorexia Bulimia Association is a national, non-profit organization of concerned members of the public and healthcare industry dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders. Through education, advocacy and research, AABA serves as a national authority on eating disorders and related concerns. AABA promotes social attitudes that enhance healthy body image and works to overcome the idealization of thinness that contributes to disordered eating.
Our mission is carried out through many different services, including: help-lines, referral networks, public information, school outreach, media support, professional training, support groups and prevention programs.
