The VISION of the SSWARD is established as a Society by Liberating the rural and urban communities from apperhension, exploitation, social and economical injustice, bondage and inequality which are the most influencing factors in their struggle for existence and the struggle to meet the basic needs Food, clothing, shelter, education and health.
The MISSION of the SSWARD therefore is to promote the participation of the target beneficiaries in planning and implementing programme that enable them to meet their basic needs.

SSWARD Stands for "Society for Social Welfare, Agriculture and Rural Development" and it is a Non - Government Organization (N.G.O.) with spirit of Social Service.
It is an All India Voluntary Organization and formed by a various like mineded individual, development organizers, Agriculturists and committed social workers. It acts as a coalition organization between the target groups and the donors/government that facilities a concerned effort among its target people and members by building their responsemechanism in tacking the complex issues.
It was born out of the aspiration and commitment of BOBBA KANAKA DURGA, General Secretary and Founder of SSWARD. The Birth of SSWARD is indeed an emotional response to the problems of poverty, illiteracy, ill health, ignorance, in adequate educational and health facilities that were widely prevalent in needy areas.
The Organization started effectively functioning by undertaking various activities,benefits of which flow to the weakest of the weak and those belonging to the lowest rungs of the rural society as well as urban society.
SOCIETY REGISTRATION:
The SSWARD Society was registered under the Provisions of "Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860" and had other necessary Registrations.

Volunteers are going to play a vital role on HIV/AIDS development problems an Disaster Mitigation Programmes. Without them, none of the projects and intervention strategies can work. At present we have very limited number of Volunteers and we have to develop the cadres to its maximum number.
