*promote participation of youth and young people in local and international democracy and let them have their say in shaping future society, by working together, practice independent thinking and respect their differences.

*to involve youths in design & implementation of programs as well as forming part of the organization’s highest policy making body.

*offer youth an opportunity for personal development through increased access to education and vocational training.

*organize workshops and career counseling programmes that would guide the youths to determine their individual vocational needs, and guide their choice of jobs and occupations.

*initiate programmes that would enhance the community leadership and problem solving skills of the youth to heighten their sense of civic responsibility.

*help alleviate unemployment and poverty by encouraging young people to consider entrepreneurship as career option, improve leadership skills and problem solving experiences, to encourage transfer of learned skills into positive civic action in countries of youth participants.
