The Old Crescentarian Society was established in 1979 by Sheikh Muin-ud-Din, the then Principal of Crescent Model School, taking into consideration the earnest desire of the old students to have an organization of the alumni so as to make collective efforts for the betterment of their alma-mater.
Sh. Muin-ud-Din convened the first meeting of the Old Crescentarian Society in 1979.
Mr. Shamshad Muhammad Lodhi was given the task of framing its constitution. Since then meetings of the Society have been held from time to time; and annual dinners have been arranged.
The Society has been raising funds to donate to the School Library and award gold medals to the students getting top positions in the Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations. The Society also offers a number of scholarships for the students of Secondary, Higher Secondary and Girls sections of the School.
The Society published a comprehensive directory in 1990, which includes the particulars of all the Old Students of this school. The Society also plans to take some other measures for the welfare of the institution.

Old Crescentarians gather on the same platform in the capacity of Alumni and share their respected fields with other Crescentarians, benefiting the society and the school.
The Society holds meetings from time to time; and arranges annual dinners.

Crescentarians working in the Government or Private Sector deputed in highly profiled posts share their knowledge and experience with young ones. If and when the society needs help or assistance they provide due help.
