The US Esperanto Youth Group (abbreviated as USEJ) is a cultural, educational organization which encourages young people in the United States to take advantage of the international language Esperanto.
USEJ supports Esperanto as a tool for making meaningful contact with young people of other languages, cultures, and countries. Through such personal contact USEJ hopes that more young people will develop an appreciation for the richness of cultural and linguistic diversity in the world, for the human rights of all people to express themselves through their native languages, and will develop a life-long interest in improving their knowledge about the world and global issues.

USEJ encourages the learning and using of Esperanto for international and intercultural communication. USEJ organizes local and international meetings and seminars, supports young people who want to travel abroad and improve their knoweldge of Esperanto and intercultural issues, and distributes information about opportunities for young people to use Esperanto around the world. USEJ works with TEJO (the World Esperanto Youth Organization) and Esperanto organizations in other countries to enrich its programs.
