Mbutu Agriculture society (mas) is Non-profit organization with headquarters at Temeke District,Dar-Es-Salaam Tanzania, The organization was initiated by a group of 20 members (mens, womens and youth) who vowed to unite and promote community development throught agriculture and environmental conservation project as voluntary activies.The organization was officially registered in septmber 1993 under United Republick of Tanzania Societies Rule 5 of 1954 with Certificate of registration number SO.7923.Currently MAS has total of 120 active members who are engaged as staff, members, both staff and members, Volunteers.
Since its establishment MAS has been assisting Tanzania poor Communities who participate in restructing the economy throught efficient agricultural undertakings.Its main OBJECTIVIES, focuses on sustainable agriculture, poverty alleviation foods security, Environmental Conservation, Natural Disasters Prevention, Community development gender equliaty, Extension services, Freelance Consultancy and advocacy on issues related to the areas mentioned above and Teaching a MASS in Tanzania about HIV&AIDS IN Tanzania.
