APASE is an organization open to all diverse cultures, free from all prejudices and biases, in order to foster cooperation among various cultures. It strives to cultivate the values of fellowship, service, in virtues as well as nurture the welfare of its members and commit itself to establishing close ties between communities and uphold moral dignity.

APEC student leaders are given the oppotunity to participate in the annual flagship project of APASE -- the APEC Future Leaders' Forum (AFLF). AFLF provides the venue for the exchange of ideas among collegiate students then come up with resolutions to address global issues. The resolutions, made by the participants themselves, are then forwarded to concerned institutions, such as the World Bank Institute (WBI) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), for enactment.
