ACIC supports its members in international cooperation and education through collective leadership, networking, information, training and coordination, and represents their interests when dealing with government and others.

Since 2003, the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC) has offered quality internships through the CIDA-funded International Youth Internship Program. Our internships give recent Canadian university or college graduates experience working with development organizations overseas as well as in the Canadian context, in their area of expertise. Interns increase their understanding of development issues and actively participate in effecting change as global citizens. The program is also aimed at providing experience that will improve participants' employment opportunities when they return from their internship.
