YEA will foster the true spirit of entrepreneurship by creating an environment in which young business owners can connect and support one another while growing successful businesses; where they are influenced by the most powerful source of information and motivation available - each other. The mission is to establish a national communication and resource network for young entrepreneurs. To work with private and public organizations to provide our members with relevant and timely information and tools to strengthen their businesses. To create informative, well-organized programs and events for young entrepreneurs.

The Young Entrepreneurs Association is a Canadian non-profit organization whose mandate is to support young people in business. Primarily aimed at people 35 and under who own businesses, YEA provides its members with the opportunity to learn from one another's experiences and take advantage of the support of their peers as they grow their businesses.

YEA connects young entrepreneurs with each other both physically and via the internet. YEA facilitates connections with government, other businesses as well as the media. YEA works with private and public organizations to provide members with relevant and timely information and tools to strengthen their businesses.

YEA is the place where young entrepreneurs feel confident they will meet like-minded individuals and can comfortably discuss the daily successes and challenges they experience in their businesses.

YEA provides its members with opportunities to learn not only from each other but from individuals with recognized expertise. YEA will also endeavor to share information on various external programs and services that may be of value to its members.

YEA is a pitch - free environment where members meet their peers and confidently and comfortably share their triumphs and challenges. Join us as a guest at one of the upcoming events in your area and experience all that YEA has to offer for yourself!

Much of the core value that entrepreneurs receive through their YEA Membership is derived from active participation in YEA programs and events. These include peer mentorship, an online forum and events such as corporate tours, seminars, conferences, and social events.

While originally designed and packaged by YEA Canada, all events are delivered by the Chapter in YEA communities. As the membership grows within a community there exists an opportunity to further diversify YEA's offerings to it's' members.

All YEA events are produced and run by the volunteer Chapter Board, and while the events will vary from Chapter to Chapter, the templates upon which the events are based are consistent across the country.
