During a project assignment to Africa in 1995, Chris and Debbie came in contact with an orphanage and orphans in dire need of assistance. Committed to finding help, they were surprised to find upon their return to the U.S. no existing agencies whose mission or programs included catering to the needs of orphans around the world.
