The objective of the Sillamäe Lastekaitse Ühing/Sillaae Society for Child Welfare is to support the state and local municipalities through program-based action to provide diverse possibilities for child development. Sillamäe Lastekaitse Ühing is known and acknowledged organisation, which is growing in staff and resources. The organisation has traditional events, good cooperation with public, private and third sector. Its services are trustworthy and accessible. Sillamäe Lastekaitse Ühing, being a citizen-initiative project, which is operating within public interest while bearing moral value. Sillamäe Lastekaitse Ühing/Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare participated in international youth initiative development and European programmes Cultural program and "Youth in Action". Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare is a part of national organisation Estonian Union for Child Welfare (www.lastekaitseliit.ee). Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare empowers children to take responsibility for peace, human rights and the environment through education, leadership development and direct participation in the events that shape our world community. Our organisation is against nationalism, discrimination and other issue what can provide antidemocratic processes
