The GlobalVote is an innovative, non-profit, internet-based democratic initiative that enhances democracy through shadow voting and polling systems. We will empower the world's internet users by registering their opinions and recording their votes on the world's most pressing issues, including resolutions under consideration at the UN, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization.

Anyone interested in The GlobalVote can cast his or her vote, which will then be systematically analyzed and disseminated to international organizations, national governments, the media, universities and non-governmental organizations in order to effect positive change that the world has clearly spoken for.

The GlobalVote consists of a combination of a delegated representation and a general (popular) vote. There will be 192 national virtual parliaments, representing the 192 member states of the UN, each with 100 delegated representatives.

In addition, The GlobalVote will provide a single, extensive platform for exchanging views around the globe. Each individual will be able to compare his or her views with others around the world and discuss the resolutions and the issues on the website.
