SDM is a year-round awareness and fundraising campaign that educates the Stanford and surrounding communities about HIV/AIDS and international health issues. Each year those efforts culminate in a day long dance-a-thon during which hundreds of students stay on their feet for 24 hours straight in...

SDM is a year-round awareness and fundraising campaign that educates the Stanford and surrounding communities about HIV/AIDS and international health issues. Each year those efforts culminate in a day long dance-a-thon during which hundreds of students stay on their feet for 24 hours straight in solidarity with all those battling HIV/AIDS around the world. Participants raise money for the cause, with proceeds benefitting Partners In Health's operations in Rwanda.

Local high school and college students are welcome to sign up as participants in the marathon, helping raise awareness in their own communities, building networks at their schools, and raising money for the cause. SDM also partners with FACE AIDS and its national network to help facilitate...

Local high school and college students are welcome to sign up as participants in the marathon, helping raise awareness in their own communities, building networks at their schools, and raising money for the cause. SDM also partners with FACE AIDS and its national network to help facilitate similar efforts throughout the country, reaching out to more than 140 high school and college chapters.
