SESDO's vision for the people of Somaliland is a dependence on renewable energy for sustainable development. Replacement of traditional energy sources with clean ones and the restoration of forests to semi-deserted is the ultimate goal desired.
SESDO aims to promote the adoption of renewable energy sources and the replacement of traditional sources with new and clean sources. This will be achieved by equally addressing the availability, accessibility, and affordability of renewable energy sources.
Energy users will be trained in the use of these new sources. Likewise, policy development, awareness raising, and technical facilitation will constitute major areas of work
