The chief purpose of the Positive Vibrations Always Foundation (PVANGO) is to unite students, individuals and community leaders to promote, support and create awareness for the United Nations Millennium Declaration Resolution through "awareness-in-action" and service learning curriculum, further nurturing children's capacity to think skillfully and critically as well as deepen children's commitment to pro-social values such as kindness, solidarity, personal responsibility, and respect for others - qualities we believed to be essential for leading more humane and productive lives in a equitable society.

By mobilizing young people as well as motivating
multiple levels of cooperation among city administrators, businesses and charitable organizations, we are working one community at a time toward the ultimate achievement of theMDGsin the global community.
PVANGO created the LivelyUp Project. Which serves as a vehicle to deliver and implement the Millennium Project global goals at local levels by mobilizing young people to participate actively in our campaigns.
The project provides a compelling entertainment platform, enabling us to engage the involvement of young people and show how “small acts of greatness” can make a measurable positive difference toward the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in their own communities -- while having fun with their friends!
Our goal for 2008 is to raise 100 tons of food through LivelyUp projects in Danbury CT, USA, to be donated to local charitable organizations. We are launching a fullyear campaign beginning March 2008 with WERACE (Western Connecticut Regional Adult Education) and Danbury High School. We are also soliciting support of the local media to provide full coverage of the campaign so that our outreach and awareness-creation process might be maximized throughout the entire community
and neighboring towns.
Along with our volunteers, artists and performers, we will create awareness about the MDGs through various motivational and informative presentations in local schools, colleges and charitable organizations. On June 28, 2008 we will present the first free musical event to promote “awareness-in-action, to be held at the Danbury Green and featuring special guest
artists and local bands. Through our partnership with the Danbury City Center we will be collecting food during their Family Night and Taste of Danbury programs beginning July 10 and running through September 7.We eagerly invite the participation of other local organizations interested in supporting our solidarity campaign and awareness creation for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

We encourage and work with kids and students from many different schools, creating committees led by them to form plans of attack to tackle the United Nations Millennium Development goals. More focus is put on at risk youth, and trying to involve them with acts of solidarity, keeping them busy by collecting food, talking to people in the community, keeping records of every action taken.
Creating hope in children that otherwise would not have the ability to do so either by their surroundings or otherwise. It’s important to have them dream about what they want to become in life, even if live has handed them a few hard shells to crack.
We teach them basic graphic, video and music skills so they can in turn develop their own style and maybe create a future within an NGO or some involvement within the artistic world, as some of the students we met are very talented, but don’t seem to have the means to pursue and explore those same talents.
