The Science and Arts Foundation (SAF) aims to provide the youth of the developing world with the educational opportunities, particularly in information and communication technology, enjoyed by the industrial world at the dawn of the new millenium.
SAF was founded by Professor Abbas Edalat (adjunct professor of Sharif University of Technology and professor of Imperial College) on March 1st, 1999. The foundation's president in Iran is Dr. Mohammad Reza Haeri-Yazdi, faculty member of the University of Tehran and CEO of MAGFA ICT Company.
