World HIV/AIDS Prevention and Orphans Organizations’ Network (WHAPON) is
Indigenous, non profit making network of World Non Governmental, community based and Faith Based Organizations, more especially those with HIV/AIDS Programmes (NGOs/CBOs & FBOs) founded in February 2005 by representatives of 5 NGOs & CBOs, WHAPON has started growing into a large world Network.

A civil society promoting openness, and responsiveness as a basis for sustainable development.
Mission Statement:
A Network of indigenous voluntary Associations influencing in HIV/AIDS campaign, OVCs, Poverty eradication and good governance processes and strategies through mobilizing diverse experiences, knowledge and skills and capacity building of CSOs a round the world onto a common platform of action.

Voluntarism, Peace, equal rights, health, citizens as prime movers of change and owners of power, openness, sharing, learning, Trust, Tolerance, adaptability, responsiveness, mutual support and listening
World HIV/AIDS Prevention and Orphans Organizations’ Network aims to equip all HIV/AIDS Community Based Organizations, Non governmental Organizations, and Faith Based Organizations (CBOs, NGOs and FBOs) as the first priority, including all institutions having programmes on orphans, Youth, the marginalized with a purpose of creating a forum, build up of a strong network to stop more spread of HIV/AIDS Scourge around the world.
WHAPON Network strongly provides various knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable all institutions to develop themselves, there communities, and the world at large.
WHAPON Network cherishes respect, integrity, (gender) equality and equity, honesty, love, peace and transparency to all CBOs, NGOs and FBOs around the world. WHAPON Network expects its member’s organizations and their staff to internalize and practice these core values at all times and use them as guidelines for action and decision-making in HIV/AIDS Campaign around the world.
WHAPON Network works with the belief that every CBOs, NGOs and FBOs has a purpose and was established to make a positive change/ contribution those tallies with their mission, vision to safe the lives of all living features in the world
There fore, we expect our organizations members and their staff to interact in a manner that is creating learning, peaceful and loving Network.
We expect members of Network and the staff to work towards self-understanding, developing Network’s vision, saving people’s lives purpose; talents such that people live with asset of values and attitudes that can act as guidelines to development.
WHAPON Network expects its member organizations and staff to show their desire to learn, have an inquiring mind and eagerness to understand the latest technologies on HIV/AIDS campaign, development paradigms and other useful insights for development of all institutions and rural transformation.
WHAPON network uses two generations approach and trains the children both boys and girls, Men and Women under poverty line also (emphasizing gender) to involve themselves in ending more spread of HIV/AIDS to our people, more especially the young generation (Children) and foster parents to be trained how to control further spread of the disease and also eradicate poverty in their homes and the community at large.
WHAPON Network follows the NGO’s principles but in addition, it offers unique programmes that aim to share with all institutions working with the network the care takers and their community’s skills in thinking, visionary leadership, Health, income generation, hand crafts, Agriculture primary health care and energy saving technologies.
It also promotes respect for human rights, in participation women and child rights. The network expects both member organizations and staff to fully participate in all activities organized by the WHAPON Network and respect and promote human rights.

The Network will create a forum to all Youth NGOs, CBOs and FBOs through involving in HIV/AIDS Campaign.
Opening up of HIV/AIDS forums with the youth and find more solutions to end the spread of HIV around the globe.
Provide Knowledge and skills to the Youth, capacity building of the network, lobbying and advocacy.
Guiding and counselling for the sick to the Youth
Medical, care and improve standards of the living of the Youth and PLWHAs around the world
