UNISCA is a course offered by the Universiteit van Amsterdam. The highlight of this course is a realistic UN simulation conference. The conference provides a unique opportunity to discuss contemporary world issues outside of the classroom setting, while still covering a recognised academic curriculum. Since 1996, seven UNISCA conferences have been held. All these sessions proved to be a great success. The number of participants has been rising every year.

The UNISCA organization has highly experienced teachers who will be working on the project on a full-time basis. They will compose the literature syllabi and exams. The teachers will offer lectures to highlight themes and issues derived from the literature. For those who are not able to attend lectures: the academic content will be put on the Internet.

Every year, UNISCA selects a central theme to link the different issues and forums together. This year's central theme is 'Global Crime'.
Global Crime is currently influencing a great amount of people around the world. Drug traffic, corruption, global environmental crime and terrorism are just some of our topics. They affect us all, so diplomats of the future: Sign up.. Speak up!
