Created in 2005,YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (YDF) exists to promote the welfare of Youths and the community so as to attain a sustainable rate of development.
OBJECTIVES:
* To innovate and also to take part in program and activity that could bring about development in our nation i.e. local community.
*To create awareness in the areas of youth development, through recommending youths to programs of value and social benefits towards self-actualization, in order to draw their attention from social vices, such as Cultism, drug abuse, crime, and prostitution.
* To highlight Youth development and participation in low cost sanitation and environmental protection exercises as an essential policy and avenue for nation building.
* Inviting youths from various schools & organisations for social work and participation in self help rural community development projects such as: Digging of water wells, public latrines; voluntary work; charity projects; tree planting; cleaning & beautifying surrounding environment, etc.
* Organise training for rural youth on: exploration of rural resources, improved farm practices, poverty alleviation techniques, life enhancement and sex education, HIV/AIDS prevention and reproductive health education, income generating/ entrepreneurial activities, information and communication management technologies etc.;
