"In the twenty-first century, the "borders" which act as barriers to divide countries from each other will likely decline steadily. Also, information, articles, and people who cross borders are rising, and the speed with which they come and go will increase more and more it is thought. As this happens, this world will become more and more unified, or conversely, individuals, tribes, nations, and so on with their various histories and cultures, will likely make this century one which realizes their sense of worth and customs. The history, culture and customs of the society which we Japanese have cultivated can, by people who have pride in it, survive with understanding and respect for history, culture, and customs with which we don't agree. In this way, understanding various cultures comprehensively, respectfully, surviving together people- and society- formation should be through international exchange in the twenty-first century."
