The Regional Multicultural Youth Centre and Youth Council is an inclusive group for youth from all backgrounds, with the vision of improving the quality of life for young people in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. We are an umbrella organization for youth centres regionally, and we run our centre under the mentorship of MANWO, the Multicultural Association of Northwestern Ontario. We have been in organization since 1986, in commemoration of the International youth year in 1985.

We plan and run training programs for youth councils, volunteers, rural youth, new Native Boarding students to school in Thunder Bay, high schools, young women, etc. We have a lot of ideas in new initiatives like peer mediation, teen courts, and move and advocate for curfews and school uniforms....

We plan and run training programs for youth councils, volunteers, rural youth, new Native Boarding students to school in Thunder Bay, high schools, young women, etc. We have a lot of ideas in new initiatives like peer mediation, teen courts, and move and advocate for curfews and school uniforms. We have a March 21st campaign where we distribute ribbons and we also have a program called Universal Arts Night, which is a display of youth talent and coffee house.
