The Empowerment and Child Labour Elimination Project (YCEP) is committed to fostering a supportive environment for the promotion and protection of the rights of young persons through a rights-based, community-centred approach. Assist young people to overcome the risk of early sexual activity, adolescence unwanted or unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV/AIDS, unsafe abortions, all forms of rape and other types of gender-based violence and exploitation.

In collaboration with government agencies, community groups, NGOs, youth networks and international partners, YCEP acts as a catalyst in developing and promoting empowerment strategies which enable young people to claim their rights and effectively participate in democracy and development at the community and national levels.
