The vision of HardtHaven Children's Home is nothing less than the transformation of AIDS orphans (children who have lost their parents to the AIDS epidemic) from hopeless, suffering victims into productive members of their communities with an exciting vision for greater Ghana. We believe that anyone, anywhere can change these little lives, through the inexpensive, life-changing care provided by this orphanage.
We offer more than just food, clothing, and shelter; your support will make an education, employment skills, and a loving home possible. Our ultimate aim is for the orphanage to be self-supporting as the children learn how to provide needed services to the community, and the community recognizes their responsibility to these young lives.
Combined with the skills and participation of international volunteers, HardtHaven offers unique opportunities for both volunteers and orphans to make a lasting, measurable difference in each other's lives.

Volunteer! - HardtHaven Children's Home is small and can personalize every volunteer experience. This orphanage is going to be supported heavily by volunteerism- the majority of the program fee will go towards the maintenance of the orphanage and by our volunteers helping out the local community...

Volunteer! - HardtHaven Children's Home is small and can personalize every volunteer experience. This orphanage is going to be supported heavily by volunteerism- the majority of the program fee will go towards the maintenance of the orphanage and by our volunteers helping out the local community the community will help to support our orphans.
Child Sponsorship - We will provide you with a child, their photograph, history and immediate needs. Once you decide to sponsor a child, you will get periodic updates, including a letter from the child you are sponsoring. For only $30 a month, you can feed, clothe and provide school supplies for a child!
Become a mentor - If you cant support the program financially you can still make a difference by becoming a mentor and friend. You will be matched up with a child and exchange emails and letters and help them grow up.
Donate your talents - We are currently looking for legal assistance to help us obtain our tax-exempt status, technical support to help us with our web site/graphics/brochures, assistance in grant writing, and any other skills you think may benefit our organization!
