The organization creates awareness among youth on different political issues like human rights, peace and democracy. It uses strategies like discussion, solidarity in various mass sensatising rallies and activities. It has been disseminating information, received from different research using different tools, to mass people through different electronic and print media. It also conducts trainings, study sessions and workshops on human rights, peace and democracy in a participatory way.

Youths are encouraged to make a volunteer contribution in the organization for their professional growth and personal enhancement. Youths are encouraged to participate in different workshop, training, and study sessions. Besides, youths are involved in different research to understand the different issues. YOCAP also provides a common forum for the youths to help them realize their potential and talents. It also creates, determines and identifies the different opportunities for youth and then links them up with the available resources.
