Youth Employment Summit 2002 is a decade campaign worldwide to empower youth and to create productive and sustainable livelihood for youths.
It is very important for Bangladeshi youth to discuss about the issues of poverty and employment, be aware of the global initiative for Youth Employment and join hands together for this good cause.
Mr. Dulal Biswas mentioned that unemployment is one of the major problems for the Bangladeshi youth. In Bangladesh, about one third of the total population is youth, everyday more and more youths are entering the employment market but the employment opportunities are limited.
