We young people of the region are experiencing great concern about the problems of peace in the Balkans. We need to participate more actively in the preparation of policies that determine our future living conditions and that enable us to create and to strengthen our own families.
We shall make realistic commitments for follow-up action and future cooperation. We are aware that sustained and sustainable development will depend upon the youthful human resources that each country has and creates. We have shared experiences and best practices that can be used to convince decision-makers about the value of including youth in their ongoing project planning and implementation.

United Nations Youth Association of Romania is a juridical person with a social character, non-governmental, without political character and it has the following goals:
1. Human rights promotion
2. Collaboration with United Nations Organisation
The Association has the following objectives:
1. Respect of the human fundamental liberties for all, no matter race, sex or religion
2. Promotion of the equality of chances for the disabled persons
3. Respect of the principle of equality in rights
4. Providing help for young people being in difficult situations
5. Making the official bodies aware of the needs of the young people and disabled persons
6. Developing friendly relationships with similar international organisations as well as with other NGOs
United Nations Youth Association of Romania will represent its members interests in front of domestic or foreign authorities.
