Dignitas Youth is a growing global network of young leaders engaging their communities in the international response to AIDS.
Vision:
To strengthen and improve the international response to the AIDS pandemic by equipping youth to effect change today, and empowering them to become the influential global leaders of tomorrow.
Mission:
To provide meaningful opportunities for youth to take action against global AIDS by:
* Facilitating community involvement around HIV/AIDS issues;
* Connecting youth to a global network of young leaders;
* Creating innovative programming to raise funds for and awareness about HIV/AIDS and the initiatives of Dignitas International.

As the youth program of Dignitas International, we are committed to Dignitas' mission to provide a quality of life with dignity for children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS in resource-poor settings.
Our youth programming seeks to engage and empower youth to respond to the global AIDS pandemic. Through education, awareness, prevention, outreach, advocacy and fundraising efforts, we are creating a growing movement to encourage and foster youth involvement, dedication and passion for this cause.
Our annual signature event, Race for Dignity, is a stationary bike race that promotes youth action in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Hundreds of students across all chapters bike to raise funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS. The Race for Dignity unites members of Dignitas Youth across all campuses, as well as all youth who are passionate and actively involved in stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS.
In establishing Dignitas Youth chapters on university campuses (now internationally), we are providing meaningful and effective methods of involvement and change. Together, we will stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The opportunities for youth to establish a Dignitas Youth chapter at their own campus, or to get involved with a current chapter are endless.
Founding a Dignitas Youth Chapter is a rewarding process for passionate and driven students who identify Dignitas's mission and want to take action against global AIDS in meaningful and tangible way. You will not only be contributing to the work of Dignitas International, but engaging your fellow students in the international response to AIDS.
