Syinc is a youth group in Singapore that connects people to seek innovative solutions for social change.rnrnOur vision is a world where our young people feel empowered to take action so as to create the change they want to see in this world.
Wat doet de organisatie?
We work as an enabler of young people to act as agents of social change. We do this in 2 ways:rnrni) Connecting people who share a common desire rnto create positive social change; rnrnii) Equipping them with the resources, tools and rnopportunities to make it happen.

We have a number of different programmes being developed:rnrn• SYINCubate: A programme that incubates and provides dedicated support and mentorship to turn good ideas into successful projects. rnThese project proposals are evaluated on 3 (main) criteria: rnsustainability; accountability; innovation. rnAwardees receive seed funding, access to networks, and tailored mentorship under this programme.rnrn• SYINConnect: Our conference programme for youths to get more exposure to various social causes, and become more engaged in the community. The conference is designed to be action-oriented to build skills for implementing action projects. Post-conference action plans are supported by programmes such as: SYINCubate, Teachers Leadership Network.rnrn• Teachers Leadership Network: Serves as a network of teachers, students and non-profits vested in student development. The TLN uses existing CIP requirements as a platform to create more social impact and student development value for students. This includes project consultancy, student matching, educator networking, project facilitation and others. It also bridges curriculum in the classroom and real-world issues in society.

d people thought it was actually pretty cool! We set out the evening just looking for web developers but found so much more! We met up with a venture capitalist and an incubator dude from the MDA who gave us insightful feedback for our ideas and are willing to take our conversation even further. Lots of possibilities from a single event. w00t!
