About the Youth CD Team
The Youth Community Development Team work with C4C staff and partners to connect with other youth in Saskatoon about various issues. A major portion of their work will be in delivering messages that come directly from the youth surveyed in “Youth….On the Brink of Success” study coordinated by C4C. The Youth Community Development Team will also develop and implement projects to facilitate engaging Saskatoon youth about addictions/substance abuse based on the four pillar approach. This may include youth forums, focus groups and other activities as directed by youth voice in Saskatoon.
The Youth Community Development Team is working with youth in Saskatoon to get their voices heard on issues that are important to them. To this end they are bringing together a Youth Working Group.
Youth Working Group:
Are you interested in becoming a spokesperson for your community, then we are searching for you. Please give our Youth Community Development Team a call at 956-0349.
The Youth Working group will have scheduled meeting monthly to discuss the current issues youth are faced with within the city of Saskatoon. The youth will be asked for their feed back on up coming activities and will be encouraged to give ideas on developing the youth agenda.
We are currently recruiting fifteen youth aged 16-29.
Call 956-0349 to speak to Gabrielle or Tala for more information in becoming a Member of the Youth Working Group.
